34-Star Union Flag
The Secession of South Carolina from the Union on December 20, 1860, began a string of secessions totaling 11 Southern states in all and precipitating the outbreak of war. The War Between the States began in April of 1861 and on July 4th, Kansas was officially admitted to the Union and a new flag was adopted bearing 34 stars. Since there was no official pattern of stars prescribed, various imaginative examples exist, however, this flag was viewed as the standard version.
Both our fully sewn cotton and fully sewn nylon 34-Star Unionflags are carefully stitched here in the US by experienced American craftsmen and finished with a heavy-duty canvas duck header and solid brass grommets.
Please Note: Our hand-sewn flags are made to order. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
