Dinner Flag
The Dinner flag is one of a handful of signals that became widely used throughout the last century by American luxury craft owners, and its popularity continues today. The simple white flag is sometimes jokingly referred to as the "Dinner Napkin," and is flown from the starboard spreader while the owner and guests are at dinner.
Our Dinner flag is made for us in America by Annin, a company who's humble beginnings date to 1820s lower Manhattan when sail maker Alexander Annin began making flags along with the sails. Annin & Co. today still sews each flag with the same traditional attention to detail and craftsmanship of Alexander Annin in the New York seaport of early 19th century America.
- Fabricated from heavy-weight marine grade Dupont nylon treated to withstand sun and salt without discoloring or shredding.
- Sewn hems with a double lock-stitched row (4 rows on the fly end!) of strong polyester thread.
- Annin's exclusive super-durable polyester duck header with solid rust-proof brass grommets.
- Made in America by Annin & Co., America's most trusted flag maker.
