Annin Nyl-Glo Washington State Flag
Just as "one size fits all" rarely fits anyone well, one flag material simply isn't the best choice for all environments. That's why we offer you a choice of materials for our commercial-grade outdoor Washington state flags.
Our rugged SpectraPro 2-ply polyester Washington state flags are made for us in the US by Valley Forge Flag and are designed for use in windier and drier climates.
Our durable Nyl-Glo nylon Washington state flags are made here in America by Annin & Co. and are the best choice for moderate wind and wetter environments. If in doubt, try Nyl-Glo—you'll get a super-durable flag plus it won't take as much out of your wallet.

A Short History of the Washington State Flag
Although Washington was admitted to the Union in 1889, it was not until 1923 that the Washington state flag was officially adopted. Of course, there had been many unofficial State flags in preceding years with presumably all of them bearing the likeness of our First President, so adoption of a flag served more to standardize what was already in existence than to create something entirely new.
The Washington state flag is unusual in a few ways. To begin with, it is the only green state flag. It is also the only state flag that is double-sided—at least the only one that has text on it, and it is the only state flag with the likeness of a person, being in this case, George Washington.
